Bert is such a happy dog. He is
absolutely devoted to me, and will do anything for me. He has been
shown in Obedience, Conformation, Field, and Agility. He is truly
an all around dog. I am very impressed with my boy.
In AKC, Bert has multiple High in Trials and was never out of the ribbons in Novice. In UKC and in
CKC, Bert has multiple High in Trials, and has placed 1st in all but one
class, and never been out of the ribbons. Not only does Bert have
brains, but he also has beauty. I showed him in Conformation when
he was 7 months, he took 2nd place out of the “Bred By Exhibitor”
class. I haven’t pursued the Conformation titles as I enjoy the
performance aspect of showing so much more. Bert and I have
started showing in Agility, and at our first USDAA Agility trial, we
came home with a 2nd place from the Gamblers Class. Bert finished
his Novice Agility Title at the Derby City Agility Trial in Lexington
September 1, 2001, and moved up to the Open division and received his
first OA leg on September 2, 2001. Bert has since finished his OA
and OAJ titles very quickly in 2 months, Dec 13,2001 - "OA" and Dec. 14,
2001 - "OAJ". He is actively competing at the Excellent
level at this time, and earned his "AX" title on July 28 , 2002.
Bert truly enjoys everything I have
asked him to do. Bert is definitely a pleasure to watch when he shows, as he is VERY
FLASHY. He really lives up to his name as he does “Step In
Time” when we show.

Bert has a wonderful head,
with intelligent eyes. His hips are Certified OFA as “GOOD”.
His eyes have passed to be CERF’ed, and he has a complete and full
dentition.
At 13 1/2 years of age, Bert
is enjoying a full and well earned life of retirement. He still
enjoys training, trail riding, and playing at the farm.
